Terms and Conditions
The following terms and conditions apply to all services provided by Shade Fresh.
1. Liability for Existing Damage: Shade Fresh is not liable for any damage due to age, wear, sun damage, colour changes, thinning, fabric or stitching issues, rot, water damage, wear to cords or components, hardening of materials, loss of sheen, shrinkage, or corrosion of zippers or buttons. Any other damage arising without fault or beyond the control of Shade Fresh is also excluded from liability.
2. Re-installation Liability: Shade Fresh is not responsible for any damage that may occur during the re-installation of mountings or fixtures that were originally installed by third parties not associated with Shade Fresh.
3. Additional Work: No additional work will be performed outside the scope of the agreed-upon services unless expressly requested in writing by the Customer and confirmed in writing by Shade Fresh. Any verbal assurances by employees, agents, or representatives are not binding.
4. Access and Premises Preparation: The Customer must provide access to the premises as needed for Shade Fresh to carry out the services. Any furniture or furnishings moved for the purposes of the service are moved at the Customer's risk. Additional materials, labor, or handling beyond the agreed scope will be at the Customer’s expense and will require prior authorisation.
5. Condition and Finish of Furnishings: The Customer acknowledges that cleaning, installation, or servicing by Shade Fresh does not rectify any natural variations in colour, texture, or finish in the furnishings. Such variations may be caused by light exposure or other external factors beyond Shade Fresh's control.
6. Property Damage: The Customer agrees that Shade Fresh shall not be liable for any incidental damage to ceilings, walls, flooring, other fixtures, or furnishings that may occur during the moving or positioning of ladders, tools, or equipment within the premises.
7. Condition of Furnishings: Shade Fresh is not responsible for the replacement costs of any furnishings found to be deteriorated beyond a visually acceptable condition upon service.
